Your mission, should you choose to accept it
by Ken Winston Caine
Our purpose is to make progress on our journey back to God. To love. To forgive. To offer peace and hope to others.
Our purpose is to do these things, as best we are capable, using our innate and unique talents and abilities and curiosities and discoveries.
A Course in Miracles says, “The peace of God is my one goal; the aim of all my living here, the end I seek, my purpose and my function and my life…”
When we have any doubt about what we are doing, we are not on purpose. The Course says, “Doubt is the result of conflicting wishes. Be sure of what you want and doubt becomes impossible.”
How to put this to work in our lives? Again, from the Course:
“In any situation in which you are uncertain, the first thing to consider, very simply, is “What do I want to come of this? What is this for?”
“The clarification of the goal belongs at the beginning, for it is this which will determine the outcome.”
