No more raw almonds — regardless of what the package says
Raw almonds will no longer be, well, raw, reports Mike Adams at NewsTarget.com.
The Almond Board of California has decided to require that all almonds produced in California be pasteurized or irradiated. And you won’t know. Because despite the fact that they will have been either heated or nuked, the packages will still say “raw.”
