Make your diet boring. Boring and simple, says Tim Ferris, best-selling author of <em>The Four-Hour Workweek</em>. 

That doesn't mean no variety or tasteless meals, Ferris explains.

Don't diet.

Diets require willpower. Diets imply "temporary." Diets deprive.

(And diets <em>deprave</em>. I say that with only the tiniest tip of tongue in cheek. I've DONE diets. I know about diets.) 

Diets don't work. 

At least not for long. Not for weight loss.

We all know people who've lost lots of weight while rigorously subjecting themselves to dieting.

And we all know people who've put it all back on, and then some, within 12 months of finishing the diet.

Maybe you are one of those people. 

I am.
